Campaign against proposed Moseley Village CCTV
Local campaign contact, Steve Jolly (jolly_steve@yahoo.co.uk)
A public consultation was conducted regarding a proposed CCTV scheme for the centre of Moseley. Hall Green Constituency officers are currently "preparing a questionnaire". The council intended to spend £100,000 on up to 4 (possibly 5) cameras to be installed along the High Street including one in the Moseley Village Car Park. This we were told followed calls from local traders.

15th December - Moseley Village CCTV consultation result
53% of respondents were not in favour of CCTV and so cameras will not be installed at Mossley Village shops. However, the council announced that as a "compromise" three cameras will be installed in the car park.
